Mark your calendars for October 6. Emily Pilloton, author of Design Revolution will be speaking at the Cooper Hewitt. She is a young author, product designer and humanitarian that established Project H, a non-profit organization devoted to changing peoples lives through product design. Here is a link to the event.
We are eagerly waiting to try out Google’s latest development, Google Wave. It is an online tool that allows friends/businesses/classes to actively collaborate in real time. It is both a conversation and a document that allows people to discuss and edit with richly formatted text, images, video, maps, and code. We have used a lot of Google applications throughout this process and look forward to playing with their latest.
This is an unedited completely raw clip of footage from the production of the documentary film, Archiculture. All audio balancing, color correcting and video mastering will occur at the final cut. Check out the Songzhuang Artist Residence designed by DnA Architects. The complex is located outside of Beijing City and is made up of 20 live work units that possess an industrial village aesthetic.

The live robot installation by Swiss Architects Gramazio & Kohler runs for 4 weeks from Oct. 5th - 27th at the Pike Street location below. The exhibition inspired from their research at ETH Zürich opens Sept. 3oth at 7PM at the Storefront for Art and Architecture and runs until Nov. 15th. Both are located on the map below:
